Nursing Team
Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Prescribers
Advanced practitioners can be found across a range of professional backgrounds and settings including but not limited to nursing, pharmacy, paramedics, other allied health professions, and midwifery. Advanced practitioners are educated to Masters level and map to NHS England’s (2017) Multi-professional framework for advanced clinical practice in England. Our Nurse Practitioners are here to attend to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional. Diagnosing and treating patients, seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. Prescribing and making any necessary referrals for investigations where appropriate. We believe this also gives our organisation a flexible workforce to meet changing population, patient, and service delivery needs. Advanced practitioners help to improve clinical continuity and provide high-quality care for patients.
